When we first decided to open a dry cleaning business we searched the industry to find all the information we could about various dry cleaning methodologies. We found out that there was a better way to dry clean than the process used by most cleaners, who use PERC as a cleaning solvent. Austin Cleaners is 100% PERC Free. This alleviates customers’ worries that the dry cleaning they get done will cause negative health or environmental effects. Conveniently located right off the corner of Hwy 183 and McNeil Rd.

Austin Cleaners is a locally owned and operated dry cleaner whose mission is to provide great quality and great service while using green dry cleaning practices. We do all dry cleaning on-site and offer same day service. Here at Austin Cleaners, we are totally committed to our promise of 100% customer satisfaction. For each garment dropped off we follow a meticulous check-in procedure that includes checking for stains, spots, tears and loose buttons.

After we clean the garment, every item is hand finished and then inspected thoroughly once again before being packaged for pickup. Our staff has over 40 years of experience in the dry cleaning industry and it shows. We own our own plant have two locations in the Austin area and also have a highly experienced staff. While there are a lot of dry cleaning businesses that outsource all of their cleaning, we do all of our own cleaning at our plant on 183 and McNeil and you can be assured that strict quality control measures are taken with every garment cleaned . I’m so glad I found Austin Cleaners. My last dry cleaner changed ownership, and the smell coming from my cleaned clothes was especially awful with the new company. We’ve been going to Adam for dry cleaning for the past three years. He’s very friendly to all of his customers and (more importantly) he does a great job. If I ever renew my vows, I’m definitely letting him clean my wife’s wedding dress. He’s the best in town for that sort of work!

I took my wedding dress to get cleaned after my bridal shots back in May. They did a WONDERFUL job. Not only was my dress good as new, they got it back to me w/in a week most times, it may 3-4 weeks to get back. Adam was so nice and now that my wedding is over (an my dressed is VERY DIRTY), I will definitely be taking my dress back to Austin Cleaners to get cleaned!
When my girlfriend and I decided to make the change from a traditional to eco-friendly dry cleaner, we knew we might have to make sacrifices, like driving further away. Deb Lyons I was heartbroken when my previous dry cleaners had to close shop. After 15 years of service I didn’t think I could find another cleaners that would compare, let alone one that was also eco-friendly towards the environment and my clothing. After a couple of wrong turns with other dry cleaners, I found Adam and his sh…op. I feel like my clothes and I are home again! Adam personally provides his customers with excellent service. Love this place because it is close. Adam is friendly and stands behing the work. My daughter had a green popsicle stain on her white comforter and when it did not come out the first round he was happy for me to bring it back in at no charge.

I’m very picky about how I want my clothes and bedding cleaned, and I was going out of my way and spending twice as much money at another cleaners in town. Now I just go up the street to Austin Cleaners, pay far less, and have cleaner clothes (that don’t smell) back within a day. It’s awesome!

I’ve lived in the Austin area for 9 years and tried my fair share of cleaners over the years. I can’t tell you how elated I am to have found Adam at Austin Cleaners. I was one of their first customers, and I haven’t used another cleaners since. There are so many reasons why you can trust Austin Cleaners. First, the customer service is simply outstanding. Adam (the owner) is always there at Austin Cleaners to great me with a smile and my first name! He makes sure all of my boyfriend’s clothes come out fast and looking sharp. My mom even takes her work uniforms there too! Buttons don’t come out smashed, there’s never a double creased line, and he can even get out grease and oil stains!!!
