Selma’s International
Selma’s international is a really cool family owned and operated Northwest Austin Hair Salon and Boutique that features international hair design and eclectic jewelry. Selma is a native of Turkey and has lived in the U.S. for 39 years. Starting her hair stylist career in Turkey she has over forty years of experience in hair design and fashion production and has passed her knowledge on to her son Kerem Ozen who was named “Best Hairdresser in Austin” by citysearch.com in 06’. Kerem is a forth generation hairdresser and his commitment to a quality job shows. Kerem is a student of the latest European styles, cuts and colors and has been a close personal friend of mine dating back to our high school days at McNeil High School. Selma’s is easily accessible from the Spicewood Springs and Milwood neighborhoods and recently added an extra 300 square feet of Salon space and another 500 square foot deck in the back that customers can hang out on when waiting for there hair cut. Selma’s has a great salon atmosphere with an eclectic Austin flare. Although located in northwest Austin Selma imports and makes some of the coolest jewelry and clothing accessories is Austin. Selma’s also added a Wi-Fi network that customers can access while waiting in their waiting room or out on their deck. Selma has excellent taste and it shows not only in the look and feel of her Salon but also in the jewelry that she makes and buys. Selma’s is located next to Milwood and Spicewood Springs neighborhoods in Northwest Austin.
